Audio and Graphics

The audio in this game is pretty awesome, it’s one of the things that gives me a lot of nostalgia. I found it pretty cool that they seem to have gotten all the voice actors who play the main host of Nintendo characters into the game, which could be simple audio cues they have knocking around, but even still, it’s not a bad thing to have in the game. Other sounds like when you get hit by a shell or something, or if you try drifting, you actually hear the kart skidding across the ground.

Graphically if you compare this to any recent release on a console, it wouldn’t look too great to be honest. Although this console is more powerful than the previous gen consoles it’s not as powerful as the current, so sadly it can’t compare to the games coming out now like The Witcher 3, Battlefront, etc. It does however look fantastic compared to the last Mario Kart game, and for a Wii U release it really does look great, I found it very crisp and clear to be playing, even at 30fps.
