Devil May Cry 4 and DmC Devil May Cry are heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Both are coming as definitive collections. DmC releases this spring and will allow players to play as Dante’s brother Vergil in his own Bloody Palace Mode.
What is awesome about this collection is that the developers are bringing new modes to the title.
- Gods Must Die difficulty is the most extreme new mode. All enemies will spawn with Devil Trigger active, and all health drops and items are disabled. Try and get through that one, I dare you.
- The added Must Style Mode will actually force the player to get their style up to “S” before you can damage enemies at all.
- Hardcore Mode will rebalance the game so that it more closely resembles the older Devil May Cry games.
Developers have also listened to fan feedback and have added some awesome little touches. The first the manual trigger lock, a couple of new skins or outfits for the leading character, as well as any DLC that has been released in the past.
The visuals of the game have been upgraded to 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. Devil May Cry 4 is also on its way but not until summer 2015. Keep your eyes open and your wallets full as the game is being released on March 17th 2015 on PS4 and Xbox One.
