The new WWE 2K15 DLC is now available. The WCW pack contains not only WCW wrestlers but let’s you buy Sting, Paige and Hulk Hogan. However, people wanting Hulk Hogan may have to wait another week.  WWE 2K15 Community Manager, Marcus Stephenson, announced the following on the official forums:

“We’ve just learned that the WWE 2K15 Hogan PS4 pack will not be available for purchase on 12/17 in Europe and Australia. The pack will be available in the next European store update.”

Hulk Hogan was previously only playable if you ordered the “HulkaMania Edition” of the game. The DLC coming this month means all WWE 2K15 owners now have a chance to purchase him.

For PS4 owners of WWE 2K15 in PAL territories, Hulk Hogan will be available sometime next week as opposed to December 17th as originally announced. It’s possible we may see him on the PSN on December 24th instead when the PAL PlayStation Stores does its next update.

The throwbacks to WCW continue with the “WCW Pack.” This bundle includes several well-known wrestlers from the promotion: Lord Steven Regal, Fit Finlay, Bam Bam Bigelow, Diamond Dallas Page and Lex Luger. Regal, Finlay and Bigelow are considered some of the best underrated wrestlers of all time as they were never booked properly as main eventers. Page and Luger on the other hand are considered legends who helped make WCW a must see organization.

Attack of the Fanboy reports that the developer is looking to expand the franchise to satisfy fans, though this alone does not guarantee changes in the near future. There is something to look forward to, as even more characters coming via expansions and three new storylines added to: One More Match, Hall of Pain and Path of the Warrior.

One More Match highlights the 2011 rivalry of Randy Orton and Christian, Hall of Pain features Mark Henry’s rise to main event status and his World Championship run and Path of the Warrior celebrates the career of the Ultimate Warrior who passed away earlier this year. While no release date has been announced yet, fans can anticipate with glee as the past, present and future of the WWE are set to step in the ring.
