Details available here, it will be available till the 22nd of January. Omikron: The Nomad Soul is a adventure game made by developer Quantic Dream who have made other games such as Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit.
David Bowie was involved with the game he had a couple of cameos playing characters and he contributed to the music, it was originally released on the PC and the Dreamcast by Eidos Interactive originally but when they got bought by Square-Enix they now own the rights to the game.
My own thoughts: A good way to honour the memory of David Bowie and from what i remember it was a pretty good game and seemed to mix a load of game genres, anyway for free no reason not to try the game though they do say there is a stock limit but i am not too sure why a digital game would be limited.
