TAIPEI, Taiwan, March 29, 2019 — ASUS today announced VG278QR, VG258QR and VG248QG, three certified NVIDIA® G-SYNC™ Compatible gaming monitors that deliver an excellent variable refresh rate (VRR) experience on NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 10-Series, GeForce GTX 16-Series and GeForce RTX 20-Series graphics cards. Coming in 27-inch, 24.5-inch and 24-inch sizes, these three new gaming monitors activate their VRR features automatically, making them ideal weapons for fast-paced shooting games, like Fortnite, Apex Legends™, Overwatch®, PUBG, CS:GO and Call of Duty®. These latest gaming monitors follow the announcement of five other G-SYNC Compatible gaming monitors — ROG Strix XG258Q, XG248Q, MG278Q, VG278Q and VG258Q — at CES 2019 and demonstrate the strong partnership between ASUS and NVIDIA.

As a leader in the gaming monitor market, ASUS is driven to deliver the best experiences to gamers. ASUS was the first company to introduce an NVIDIA G-SYNC monitor with the launch of ROG Swift PG278Q in 2014, and the ROG Swift series has continued since then to be recognised as the world’s best gaming monitors. Since the launch of the G-SYNC Compatible program, ASUS has worked closely with NVIDIA to enlarge the G-SYNC ecosystem. ASUS is currently the only company subjecting monitors to a two-stage certification process that entails in-house testing and subsequent validation by NVIDIA to guarantee compatibility with thousands of graphics cards. Eight ASUS monitors spanning a variety of screen sizes and resolutions have achieved full compliance, giving consumers more freedom to upgrade existing systems or team components for new builds.

ASUS VG248QG, VG258QR and VG278QR all support gamer-centric features, such as ASUS GamePlus to enhance the in-game experience and GameVisual to provide various pre-set display modes that optimise visuals for different types of games.
