So according to some sources, Samsung could be working on a whopping 49” curved monitor. This ultra-wide screen will effectively be the same as putting a pair of 27” curved screens next to each other, all without having any unsightly bezels in the middle.
The tech specs of the screen will be almost as impressive as the shear amount of screen real-estate. With a resolution of 3840×1080, 5000:1 contrast ration and even support for 144Hz refresh rates this screen is certainly well kitted out when it comes to specifications. Even more impressive is the possible inclusion of either AMDs FreeSync or Nvidias G-Sync screen technologies.
Now production is quite a way off with production rumors pegged for September this year, but such a large screen with impressive specs will surely be worth waiting for.
