Today we will be taking a look at the P533 Racing Headset with boom Microphone from manufacturer, Arctic. The company name Arctic may sound familiar, mainly as they are well known for their system cooling solutions like thermal paste and CPU coolers, and with much more tech recently released on the market by them you had better get used to hearing it!
Moving on, let’s talk about the P553 a little bit before delving into this review. To start, this premium built headset’s feature enhanced and uses high quality neodymium drivers to deliver bass and smooth tones. With an underlining red and black racing theme, they also offer a comfortable padded headband and over ear headphones – and if you don’t like red and black don’t fret as the same headset is available in camo clothing. Further down the line you will find a gold plated 3 pole 3.5mm jack but with the addition of an adaptor, you can split the single jack to a dual for use with high end audio equipment and platforms like computers.
Specification
So, is this racing headset from Arctic worth the price tag? We will now jump into the review and find out. To start, let’s take a look at the specification of these headphones provided to us by Arctic on their website. A direct link to this specific specification can be on this page under the heading “Technical Data”.

What we can tell from this raw data is that the headphones should perform to a fairly medium level of quality, with a solid frequency response and impedance. The microphone also looks promising but we will talk about this a little later in the review.
