Starting off with the front and the Raider has a nice elegant look in my opinion. The outside edges feature the BitFenix SofTouch Surface Treatment while the middle features a nice mesh design that will also double as ventilation to allow the intake fans to pull some air. The only “branding” of sorts on the case is the small BitFenix emblem that can be seen towards the bottom on the front of the case, above this are 4x 5.25″ drive bays for all your optical drive needs.

Taking the front off and we can see 2 of the 3 included Spectre fans, if these are not to your liking, there is also room to install a nice 200mm fan in their place for maximum airflow and reduced noise.

The look of the front makes its way up to the top of the Raider as well, SofTouch on the sides with the mesh area in the middle, this case is designed to have great airflow and judging by all the ventilation, I would not see airflow being a problem in this case.

On the top is also where users will find the front IO which consists of 4x USB 3.0 and the audio inputs (mic/headphone) on the left side and over on the right side are the power/reset buttons and the fan controller switch.

Taking the top of the case off reveals space for a 200mm fan, what is odd is the fact that there are no other types of mounts up here, just strictly a 200mm fan. With the size of the case, it would have been great to see at least fan mounts for a couple of 120/140mm fans so users could also install a 240/280mm at the least if they so desired and while it would be easy enough for someone to drill a couple holes themselves they really shouldn’t have to in a case of this size, they should already be there and let us not forget they would also have to make a bit more ventilation.

The side panels on the model we here at Play3r have in for review are plan and only have a couple of notches to help take them off. Looking at the BitFenix website though and they also have a nice windowed version that also appears to come with a couple of the Red LED Spectre Pro fans which would really help set this case off.

On to the back and we have exactly what we would expect to see here. There are a nice pair of holes for water cooling tubes, 7x PCI Expansion bays, rear exhaust fan (120mm) and the cutouts for the rear IO of the motherboard and the bottom mounted power supply.
