Taking the side panels off and getting down to business we can see plenty of options for cable management which is one of the main reasons this is one of my favourite BitFenix cases. All BitFenix cases seem to fall short in some way or another but at least with the Raider, it is not in the cable management department as per normal. Also, as you can see in the below picture there is ample room to install most components for a decent gaming rig.
Looking towards the front and starting from the top we have access to the 4x 5.25″ optical drive bays and can also see where the cables from the front IO come in to the inside of the case. Below the optical drive bays are a pair of hard drive cages that can handle up to 6x 3.5″ drives or 7x 2.5″ drive bays. Also worth noting is the fact the top hard drive cage can be removed to allow for the installation of longer graphics cards, something a lot of users will be pleased to see.
Towards the back of the case, we can see the third included Spectre fans that act as an exhaust fan, we can also see that there is plenty of room to route cables over the top of the motherboard into the back of the case.
Taking a look at the back side of the motherboard tray and there are a few clips so users can attach zip ties to route the cables exactly how they like.
One of the things BitFenix got right with the Raider is the ample room they left for cable management behind the motherboard tray. Too many times have we seen the lack of room in this space from BitFenix but no sir, not on the Raider! BitFenix have given users plenty of room to route and store their cables behind the motherboard tray this time around. Job well done!
