The Interior & Build
The specifications of the system inside the Phanteks Evolv ATXÂ are as follows:
CPU – Intel Core i7 6770k
Motherboard – ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING
Cooler – Noctua NH-D15
Memory – 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x8GB) 2400MHz
Graphics Card – PNY GTX 980 OC2
Power Supply – BitFenix Fury 650w
SSD – Plextor 128GB M.2
Inside the Phanteks Evolv ATX, there are quite a few interesting points I want to show off. The first is the inclusive PWM fan hub Phanteks are well known for implementing. Not only does this save on the need for a fan controller as it supports PWM compatible fans, but it also saves much need space at the front of the case for handy and useful things like MORE RADIATORS!
Phanteks offer the most premium style accessories box and package in my opinion for any case sub £200! An organised screw box you say? Oh yeah…
If I had to sum up my experience building inside of the Phanteks Evolv ATX, it would be absolutely superb! Is the Phanteks Evolv ATX easy to build into? Of course it is and this is down to how Phanteks sets up and lays out the interior. First of all, to install the power supply, you need to open the solid side panel (not the windowed one) and insert it from there. The cables can be routed via differently placed rubber grommets which I am a huge fan of and it keeps every nice and tidy.
Here are some final shots of the system all set up and built:
