[section_title title=Closer Look Pack/Ext]Closer Look Pack./Ext.
Starting off with the box and let me just say, this thing is massive. Â The front of the box is simple and elegant as is the case inside, up in the top left we can see the Thermaltake logo and taking up a good portion of space across the middle is a nice outline image of the T81 itself. Looking on either side of the box and users should be able to find answers to most questions they will have about the T81 in regards to size and what it will be compatible with.
Thermaltake have also included a nice range of accessories in with the T81 hopefully making sure that users will have everything they may need to get their build up and inside the case as soon as possible. There are a number of screws to make installing any hardware a piece of cake and there are a few zip ties, post speaker and a couple of other little goodies to get users on their way.
The front of the T81 is definitely very elegant and sleek thanks in part to the door that spans from the top to bottom and, of course, covers the optical drive bays and intake fan vents. The door features a nice brushed aluminium look with a small Tt/Thermaltake logo in the bottom right.
Opening the door reveals a pair of 5.25″ drive bays, one of which also has a conversion for a 3.5″ bay for memory card readers or what have you. Below drive bays are two removable fan filters that are protecting two massive 200mm intake fans. When removing the dust filters users get a bit better look at the 200mm fans but it is not until completely removing the front panel that users will actually be able to access the fans and swap them out if need be.
Users will be able to install a number of different fan and radiator configurations in the front, such as:
Fans:
1 x 120mm or 2 x 120mm or 3 x 120mm
1 x 140mm or 2 x 140mm
1 x 200mm or 2 x 200mm
Radiator:
1 x 120mm or 1 x 240mm or 1 x 360mm
1 x 140mm or 1 x 280mm or 1 x 420mm
