Closer Look
The packaging is as sturdy as you would want it to be and comes loaded with information about the AIO cooler inside. The front gives a clear image of all the important parts contained within.
The rear of the box shows all the available components, including the different VRM coolers available through the range. It also highlights the cooling and acoustic benefits compared to the previous generation Hybrid II – 120 as well as the stock cooler.
On the edge of the box we have the specifications as listed previously in addition to some infographics, and on the other edge, we see multi-lingual information for various countries.
Inside the box we get the first look at the AIO unit which arrived with the fan already fitted to the radiator; as you can tell, the fan is augmented with anti-vibration rubber pads that enhance its looks as well as reduce the noise created. You can see also the copper heat plate which is attached to the pump.
Lastly, we get to the accessories, and there’s plenty included: two different heatsink parts complete with thermal pads, an 80mm fan and all the screws, washers and springs you need. You also get a syringe of Arctic MX-4 thermal paste and instruction leaflet, and a slip suggesting that you use MSI Afterburner to control the fan speeds.
Now that we have seen the Arctic Accelero Hybrid III in detail it’s time to go through the assembly process…
