Conclusion

Jumping right into the Performance of the Cooltek Silent Fans and while they did not produce the most airflow, this was expected as their RPM’s were not as high as some others that we have tested. Cooltek does a great job on offering products that are as quiet as possible and that is exactly what we have here with these fans. The Silent Fans produce more than adequate airflow to keep your PC cool while remaining very quiet thanks to the reduced RPM as mentioned. Noise is always a bit concern for a lot of users when purchasing fans as no one wants their PC to sound like a jet engine getting ready for take off!

The Design of the fans may leave some thinking they are a bit cheap or even gimmicky looking. The Translucent blades are great for passing the LED light through, but the translucent frames may be a bit off-putting for some. It would have been nice to see the fans with a more solid black frame in my opinion, but the fact that they allow light to pass through may play in their favour as it will allow for the LEDs to help light up the whole case and not just the fan blades. When it comes down to it, for what the fans are for, the design is good.

The Value of the fans is going to be one of the bigger selling points for them. Coming in under €6.00, they offer great performance and won’t cost too much to buy enough to fill a standard case with them. This bodes well for them as a lot of time fans can actually be quite expensive, especially when if need 6 or more of them to fill a case. The price on the Cooltek Silent Fans is amazing and makes them a strong contender in the market and a well worthy purchase, even if they don’t produce the most airflow. 

At the end of the day, if you are in the market for some LED fans, then the Cooltek Silent Fan series is well worth a look. They come in both 120mm and 140mm variants and have three colours to choose from making them worthy of being considered next time you are in the market for some fans.

Silver Award – I am awarding both the 120mm and 140mm version of the Cooltek Silent Fans with our Silver Award. While the airflow was not the best, they are near silent, come in multiple colours and the price tag is very suiting for what they offer.
