Closer Look

Starting off with the front of the packaging there is a nice big image of the XT140 in the background, giving users a little peak of what to expect. In the top left users will notice the CRYORIG logo and more towards the bottom is a little box with the model name and a short description lettings users know the XT140 features CRYORIG’s HPLN bearing.

On to the back and we have a bit more information. We can now see the anti-vibration rubbers used on the fan are available in 3 colours which are always more than welcome in my books. We can also see a full specifications list and an image outlining the dimensions of the fan 140x140x13mm and lastly there is a list of package contents.

Inside the box, the fan is packaged in a bubble wrap bag which also includes the product registration card.

At the bottom of the box is where users will be able to find the accessories box which includes the different coloured anti-vibration mounts, screws, rubber pins and a Molex adapter.

The overall colour scheme of the XT140 is black and grey though there is a nice colour circle in the middle around the CR logo on the front. The black anti-vibration absorbers come pre-installed, but they are easily removed so you can use the white and/or red if you would like.

Not only are the anti-vibration absorbers easily removed and interchangeable, they also act as holders for the PWM cable so you can route it around the outside of the frame if need be.
