NZXT is well known by anyone who looks for their own components when building or upgrading a computer, being synonymous with modern styling as well as solid manufacturing and performance. Better known for their range of cases, they also provide power supplies and accessories such as lighting and fan controllers and is one of the latter that we’ll be taking a look at today. The Grid+ V2 as the name suggests is the latest version of the already well received Grid+ and although not much has changed in terms of design there are some under-the-bonnet improvements in manufacturing process.
So what is the Grid+ V2? Well simply put it’s a plastic box that powers up to eight fans from one MOLEX plug, but of course, it’s so much more than that. It connects to your motherboard’s USB header and utilises NZXT CAM software to allow you full control to change each fan channel independently, either with the pre-made profiles or even a custom profile for each fan, and each of those profiles can be triggered by changes to either the CPU or GPU temperatures.
So let’s have a look at the specifications before we take a closer look at what you get in the box.
