[section_title title=”Closer Look”]Closer Look
Taking a look at the box and the design is very simplistic. The main box is black and only contains the AcoustiPhase logo on the top, the rest is bare.
There is a white sleeve around the box but again, very simplistic. The top gives us manufacturer and model name while on the sides we see it is Bluetooth capable and lets us know which colour we have.
When we first open the main box we are greeted with a smaller box that contains our accessories.
Inside this box we have our charging and 3.5mm cables as well as a Mini Cannon User Guide.
After removing the accessories we get our first glimpse at the MC-1 speaker and its front grill.
Having a look at the MC-1 and all it has to offer I must say I am really liking the cast aluminium finish even if mine is pink!
The top houses our mute button and what looks to me as an Apple Ipod inspired circular volume control.
On one side we have our Bluetooth indicator/power on-off switch. When pairing the MC-1 to a new device you must push the button as far toward the Bluetooth button as possible so it allows other devices to search for it. Once your device is connected to it you can release the button and it should stop in the middle, if the blue LED is constant it means the MC-1 is paired to another device, if the blue LED is flashing it means it is searching for devices.
On the back we can see the AcoustiPhase logo and website URL alongside the Mini-USB charging socket and 3.5mm auxiliary jack.
To the bottom of the MC-1 we have 4 non-slip rubber feet as well as a removable sticker that contains some information about the device, including make, model and battery capacity to name a few.
