Recently, Micron sent over a 16GB kit of their all-new Tactical Tracer RGB DDR4 RAM for me to show you an overview of. The video is below so please do go give that a watch, mainly for my peace of mind but there’s also a couple nice panning shots of the RAM kit itself and the nifty DDR4 Ballistix MOD utility where you can configure the lighting profiles of the RAM in real time. Another nice addition to the software package is that it also works seamlessly with the likes of Asus Aura, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte AORUS Graphics Engine and many other “popular” LED-controlling software. Other inclusions include a RAM temperature panel with the ability to load a temperature widget on the desktop with optional transparency should you choose to do so.

The Micron Tactical Tracer RGB DDR4 Ram kits are available in 8 and 16GB kits and are available in 2 and 4 stick kits. They also come in 2 frequency ranges of 2666 and 3000MHz, the 2666MHz version is 1.2v and the 3000MHz version is 1.35v and finally, the kits all come with a 16-18-18 latency.
