TP-Link has been one of the cornerstones of networking products on the global market since their first entry into the international market in 2005, although they were formed in 1996. They have gone from strength to strength since then and continue to provide consumers and businesses alike with many different products, catering for many different needs.

Breaking into the networking market is extremely difficult, especially with the well-known industry players out there. However TP-Link has developed their latest flagship design, the Archer VR600, to continue to make waves in this area – and they’ve sent us one to take a look at. What’s so special about this one you may ask? Well not only is this a router, it is one that supports both VDSL and ADSL. It also supports EWAN meaning you can also use this on a cable connection (such as that used by Virgin Media – but more on this later). Read on to see the specifications and our review.

  1. Hey; I’ve got the problem that my ping raises by 5ms after some hours usage, until I restart the modem.
Anyone got an idea why this is?

  2. I was wondering, does this support WAN failover? Lets say I am using the vdsl port as my main line and I have a cable internet on the WAN port. If my DSL fails, can it failover to the WAN port?
