Conclusion
After trying to thoroughly trying to put a hurting on the POSEIDON Z it is time for me to wrap things up and give my final thoughts, so let’s get to it!
Speaking on performance is one of those things it is hard to give a definitive rating to when it comes to mechanical keyboards. They are quite a few different types of switches and as we noticed, the same keyboard may just have different version with different switches. This is what makes all the difference and comes down to a personal user preference.
However, my experience with the POSEIDON Z blue switches was rather nice and it has converted me from Cherry Blacks to Kailh Blues for the time being. Typing is great and I feel my typing has not only improved in terms of accuracy but my speed has to be up a bit as well which is always nice. I almost get ahead of my brain when typing the keyboard is that nice, sometimes I have to slow it down a bit.
The design is very basic but that is not a bad thing. The POSEIDON Z is meant to type on and stand the test of time so all the added gimmicks and extras are not needed. Â If full size is not your thing it is also available in a TKL version, both of which can come with either Blue or Brown switches given users more options depending on their individual preferences. The blue backlit keys are what really draw my attention as it is nice to see something a bit different than the standard white and red backlighting.
When it comes to the price which is around £55-£60 depending where you shop and it will be hard to find something that gives as good a value for the money. Not only does the POSEIDON Z perform well and look great, it also comes with the worlds first 5-year warranty on a mechanical keyboard! If nothing else sells you on it let it be the price and warranty, you are essentially paying £11 a year for a mechanical keyboard! Most people I know wouldn’t even keep a keyboard for that long so the fact Tt eSPORTS have upped their warranty game is an impressive feature in itself.
At the end of  the day if you are looking for a standard mechanical keyboard the POSEIDON Z offers great performance, design and that price, just WOW! Pair all that up with the industry’s first 5-year warranty on a mechanical keyboard and you really cannot go wrong. When looking at the POSEIDON Z the hardest question you should have to ask yourself is brown or blue? It’s really that simple.
I would like to thank Tt eSPORTS for sending the POSEIDON Z in for review and look forward to seeing more from them in the future.
