Not all American based tech companies have fared brilliantly well when transitioning from stateside to the UK, but one which has done that and more is Cyberpower. Cyberpower or Cyberpower PC’s have been building high quality PC systems for a very long time and are one of the stand out e-tailers on both sides of the proverbial pond (Atlantic Ocean). With a strong penchant to delivering solidly built and reliable gaming PCs, workstations and regular bog standard PC’s, everything Cyberpower does is followed by the same ethos from start to finish.
Whether it’s a fully-fledged gaming monster or a basic web browsing system you are looking for, Cyberpower have entire ranges which cover ALL the bases; their customisable options are also among the best so if you wanted to fine tune the specification of your system, this is possible with Cyberpower.
Along with every Intel/AMD socket or architecture change, Cyberpower are right on top of it and their design team work around the clock rigging up and speccing new systems for their new ranges. One such range which featured an update due to Intel’s Z170 Skylake launch is their INFINITY line up. The system we have on our test bench today is also from this line up and is namely the INFINITY X77 PRO GT. Not just a pretty name, it features the latest Intel Skylake Core i7 6700k with 16GB of HyperX Fury 2133MHz DDR4 memory. On top of this, Cyberpower have laden these components onto the striking and stylish ASUS Z170-A Gaming ATX motherboard with Windows 10 installed onto the Samsung 500GB SSD; there is also a 1TB SATA III 7200RPM hard drive installed to aid with any storage needs. On top of all of that, finishing the main component list off is the powerful and beefy MSI GTX 980 4GB graphics card which combined with the Intel Core i7 6700k, should make for an incredible gaming experience.
For £1499, is this the best value gaming system in the UK in terms of specs and performance? Let’s find out, starting with the specifications…
