Performance and Testing

The testing of the Blackview Hero 2 went very well. I’ve recorded some footage at the 3 highest resolutions to give you all a look at how well it records. Please note, you may have to up the resolution in the YouTube to see it a bit better. Also, worth noting is that depending on where you are watching from, you may not be able to make use of the full resolution.

Overall the Blackview Hero 2 seems to record at its specified resolutions. The quality is definitely good and while 30FPS may not be the best for every situation, you can knock the resolution down to 1920x1080P to get 45FPS for those times where it’s needed.

It is also worth noting that while the camera says the top resolution is 2560x1080P it is actually 2560x1440P which is even better. Even when looking at the actual camera itself, it is listed as 1080P but as you can see via YouTube, it is most certainly 1440P as we would suspect. This is a very big feature that has been overlooked and really does make me wonder about the Blackview Q&A procedure as this should have been a major selling point for this camera. It also makes me wonder what the overall quality will be like. I will say this while I am finishing this review for now, I will be continuing to use this camera as much as I can to make sure no other issues come up and if they do, you can bet I will update this and keep you all informed!

2560x1080P (1440P) @ 30FPS
