Audio and Graphics
Despite the mechanics and gameplay being fun the graphics are clean but limited. In motion knowing what is going where, picking a target and planning are easy, screenshots do make it look more complicated than it really is. Take a look at the screenshots in this review, that’s a late-game level. I played it and I’m confused by what is going off when paused. But in motion everything seems so clear, you can tell exactly what is happening.
When levels can last 20+ minutes you’d expect the background music to be pretty long before repeating, sadly it loops far too quickly. If you continue a mission past it’s end point the music just stops as well, it’s a bit jarring. This is also the problem with the sound in general, it’s too limited. There’s only one sound you listen for, the log telling you that something exploded.
