The Tale of Doris and the Dragon starts with Doris being unaware that she’s even died. Like the classic point and clicks she is somehow aware of the player attempting to control her. I say attempting as Doris will not do anything that she doesn’t want to, and won’t put up with every request.Doris 1

You start after falling down a shaft with your trusty shopping trolley not far behind you. There’s usually only one or two directions to go, and it’s not long before someone is blocking your progress and you have to work within your limited interactions of look or touch things to resolve it. Backtracking and generally clicking on everything generally work though.

Puzzles are usually straightforward interact or combine object puzzles. Near the end there was a completely left field problem that I had never encountered before, it was simple enough to understand, do and indeed solve. The problem was with it’s presentation, it suddenly ramped the requirements up far in excess of anything before or after. But it’s not a point and click game without a goat puzzle.Doris 4
