Audio and Graphics
The graphics are classic pixel art, chunky, flat and full of character. Doris clings to her shopping trolley to keep upright, bending only to pick up whatever object is within her grasp, she’s not a kleptomaniac though. All of the denizens of Purgatory are nicely animated, feeling like real characters instead of chunky pixels.
I love the slightly wonky voiceacting of Norb, Doris and the denizens. Each character sounds distinct enough that it was only the credits that made me realise how tiny the cast is. The stoneman is a particular highlight and I wish he had more dialogue.
