The upcoming and teased demo for Final Fantasy 15 will be available on release day of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. The demo titled “Duscae” can be downloaded on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One the day that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD goes on sale.
There will be download tokens included in every Day One branded copies of Type-0 HD, but will also be available and bundled with digital copies for a short time. The trial brings with it the region of Duscae which the player can explore till their heart is content. The demo will have hours of gameplay according to rumours, and include secrets hidden for the players to find, which is a nice touch.
The download codes can be redeemed between the days of 20th March 2015 and 20th March 2016. The demo will be playable indefinitely and won’t be removed from your hard drive by the naughty hard drive game removers.
The only sad part of this is that the demo is only available to people who purchase Type-0 HD. It won’t be sold in any other form, and for a player like me who loves the Final Fantasy series this is highly disappointing. I guess I’m going to have to try and get Type-0 then, thanks for that Square Enix.
The last Final Fantasy game I truly enjoyed was Final Fantasy 8. I was a huge fan of Final Fantasy 7, and in fact it made me fall in love with console gaming all over again. Final Fantasy 7 had one of the best stories I’ve ever had the pleasure of completing. What thoughts do you have for the Final Fantasy series? Did you love FF10?
