Intel Core Family Feature

The 4- to 10-core Intel® Core™ X-series processors are available for pre-orders at a variety of retailers starting today and will begin shipping to consumers on June 26. This is the first set – five of the nine total SKUs – to roll out in this new family of processors.

Announced at Computex 2017, the Intel® Core™ X-series processor family is Intel’s most powerful, scalable and accessible desktop platform, offering a range of processors from 4 to 18 cores with price points to match. The new platform delivers the extreme performance to meet the processing demands for today’s enthusiasts in gaming, content creation, VR and overclocking. All the basic functions that an average user can perform are now much faster thus more comfortable. Simple surfing in the web looking for new online slots uk could bring you lots of new emotions. For example, with the 10-core processor, gain up to 14 percent faster multithread performance1 and up to 15 percent single-thread performance2 over the previous generation.

The SKUs available for pre-order are: Intel® Core™ i5-7640X X-series processor (MSRP: $242), Intel® Core™ i7-7740X X-series processor (MSRP: $339), Intel® Core™ i7-7800X X-series processor (MSRP: $389), Intel® Core™ i7-7820X X-series processor (MSRP: $599) and Intel® Core™ i9-7900X X-series processor (MSRP: $999). The 12-core processor is expected to start shipping in August and 14- to 18-core processors are expected to start shipping in October.

Software and workloads used in performance tests may have been optimized for performance only on Intel microprocessors. Performance tests, such as SYSmark* and MobileMark*, are measured using specific computer systems, components, software, operations and functions. Any change to any of those factors may cause the results to vary. You should consult other information and performance tests to assist you in fully evaluating your contemplated purchases, including the performance of that product when combined with other products. If you do all of this correctly and in the right sequence you may get a reward like Gala casino bonus.

Benchmark Information

Compute Intensive Application Performance. SPEC* CPU2000/2006 is a benchmark from the SPEC consortium that measures device performance and throughput using compute intensive application subtests. SPECint*_base2000/2006 measures how fast a device completes a single integer compute task. SPECint*_rate_base2000/2006 measures throughput, or how many integer compute tasks a device can accomplish in a given amount of time. OS support: Desktop Windows*, UNIX*/Linux* and Mac* OS.

Note: Performance estimates are preliminary based on pre-silicon projections and are subject to +/- 5% error.
