Three tier-cooling for quiet and efficient power delivery
The Leadex III comes fitted with a 135mm fan, complete with their fluid dynamic bearing technology, which helps to keep noise to a minimum. Even at low RPM however, fans are still audible, that’s why the Leadex III employs three-tier adaptive cooling, with two semi-passive ECO modes that can be selected with the rear fan switch including:
ECO 0 – Fans will run when temperatures are above 62°C, falling silent once temperatures are reduced to 53°C or less.
ECO 1 – Fans will run at temperatures over 48°C, will fans running silent with running temperatures below 33°C.
Guaranteed 80Plus Gold rated efficiency of up to 92% under load
All Leadex III Gold power supplies are 80PLUS Gold certified and achieve a guaranteed efficiency rating of 90/92/89% when at loads of 20/50/100%.
In order to achieve the high efficiency rating, Super Flower opts for cutting-edge technology: the Leadex III platform uses LLC resonance conversion in the primary range and DC-DC downward conversion for the +3,3- and +5 Volt rails. This form of independent voltage regulation ensures that the output voltages always remain close to the setpoint, even under demanding test scenarios (e.g. asymmetrical load).
If required, the entire rated power can be called up as a +12 Volt voltage. In combination with the low residual ripple, Leadex III are therefore particularly suitable for demanding builds and overclocking projects.
Built and designed with only the most premium Japanese capacitors
Super Flower use only the best components for guaranteed quality, with Japanese 105 degree electrolytic capacitors found on their motherboards. This ensures protection against common faults found with cheaper components, such as capacitor leakage and results in an average operating life span that exceeds 100,000 hours.
As well as premium components, Super Flower Leadex III protects against Over- and Undervoltage (OVP, UVP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), Overload (OPP), Overheating (OTP) and Overcurrent (OCP on the +3,3- and +5 Volt rails). The Leadex III automatically switches off in an emergency to protect your hardware from damage, which is why it comes with a full 7 year warranty as a reflection on it’s industry leading build quality.
