Introduction
Attitude One a relatively new company in the peripheral space having been founded in 2011 and as such, perhaps fly under most people’s radar where peripherals concerned whether it’s for PC and gaming or general electronic goods. We previously covered one of Attitude One’s gaming headset here, the Tunguska, but today I’ll be looking at their on-ear headphones, the Almaz.
The Almaz are on-ear headphones that can double up as a communication device if wanted with support for both Android and Apple devices. The style and price-tag of the Almaz seem to be in-line with the general scheme of aesthetics in the headphone market at the minute, that is, on-ear and glossy plastic, really, running in the wake of the Beats headphones. For any PS4 owners reading, I see no reason why the Almaz can’t be used with the DualShock 4 controller for voice chat and game sound with the supplied in-line cable.
Today I’ll be covering the white Almaz (UPC:Â 794504515640) although they’re also available in five other colours: blue, pink, black, orange, and green.

The specifications aren’t massively different from most headset at this level in the market. 40mm drivers are quite ubiquitous but the various cables included – including the monster 7m 3.5mm one – are quite nice additions. For anyone worried about the 7m cable being too much you can just use any of the mobile device ones for general, shorter length, 3.5mm usage.
The Almaz also ships with two years warranty should anything go awry and they can also be collapsed down for easy transport.
