[section_title title=”Closer Look”]Closer Look
Looking now at the speaker itself, we can see the dotted mesh covering the speakers with a NudeAudio logo soft touch rubber logo in the centre. This is to protect the speaker should it tip on to either side or heaven forbid it gets dropped. Please note: it’s exactly the same/mirrored on the opposite side so a photo of the other side isn’t included.
Moving on to the bottom of the speaker we can see manufacturer and model branding printed in white.
Now as one side of the speaker is blank the other, depending how you’re holding it, will contain a removable soft touch tab which hides the 3.5mm audio in jack and USB charging adapter. I believe this is the reason it isn’t fully waterproof as water would definitely get into these areas. However they are on the bottom so when hanging by the string/rope very little water will get in to this section, a well thought out design. Thumbs up.
Finally, moving up to the top of the speaker we are greeted with the power button, volume rocker and both a Bluetooth connect and photo answer button, more on that to come later.
