Closer Look: Interior
Just like the exterior, the Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 Rev.B features a crisp white finish but with a subtle black contrast; anyone else thinking MSI Krait motherboard being perfect for this case? Of course you are! There are a few interesting things to note about the layout of the internals, first we have a removable HDD caddy on the floor of the case (centre). This can be moved to allow installation of larger power supplies but if you did plan to use this, a good 500w power supply should fit in with absolutely no effort at all.
The Deep Silence 1 Rev.B also features rubber grommets which if you have read any of my case reviews previously, know I am a huge advocate of as it not only makes cable management look neater, but also provides a protective ring around sharp edges; who wants to get cut? Exactly!
Need lots of storage space? Well the Deep Silence 1 Rev.B has space for a maximum of 11 storage devices which includes 8 x 3.5” bays and 6 x 2.5” bays; of course when 3.5” drives are installed, you do have less space because….well isn’t it obvious? These however can be removed if you wanted to create even more interior space and each of the caddy trays are made from high quality steel; painted black to add contrast which I really like.
Included with this particular chassis is 1 x 140mm fan to provide maximum airflow throughout the case.
In the roof there is space to fit either 2 x 120mm fans or 2 x 140mm fans depending on your preference; a 240mm radiator would be perfect up there if water cooling is your cup of tea as it offers a great opportunity to make use of that awesome ventilation system.
