Closer Look Interior
Working our way to the inside of the case by removing the front panel completely, users will now have access to change/add another fan to the front if they so desire. We also get a nice look through to the back of the case without the 5.25″ drive bay covers in place.
Taking off the side panels and having a look, the main area of the VIPER GX II likes nicely thought out and designed. We can see a few options for routing cables, separate 2.5″ and 3.5″ drive cages – though the 2.5″ can be converted to 3.5″ as well or, completely removed to fit in a longer graphics card. One of the things I always appreciate is when the motherboard risers come pre-installed and while it would not affect my judgment in any way, it’s just a nice little extra bonus.
The front of the Viper GX II houses all of the drive bays, there is room for 3x 5.25″, 4x 2.5″ and 3x 3.5″ though as mentioned the 2.5″ can easily be converted to 3.5″ or completely removed if need be.
A quick look at the back of the case from the inside and we get a bit better look at the rear exhaust fan, PCI expansion bays and the cutouts for the motherboard and PSU.
On the back side of the motherboard tray, there is plenty of room and space for cable management. The Viper GX II also comes equipped with quite a few places to tie zip ties so users will be able to route the cables exactly how they want. Another nice thing to notice is the amount of room between the motherboard tray and the side panel which is around 20mm.
Back to the top of the case and this time we are taking a look at the room designated for a couple of 120mm fans or a 240mm radiator. There is around 25mm of room  to play with here before things start finding their way inside the case.
