Now we have come down to our overall thoughts, opinions and the facts about this chair, we can start to piece together what our time was like with it as well as elaborate a little on the latest from Nitro Concepts.

Like all practical furniture, the most important factor is both comfort and style. We are not connoisseurs of the furniture market and have the ability to distinguish a £6 table from a £60,000 table but we speak honesty on all levels as in a nutshell, forking out £140 quid for a chair may not be something you would have considered yet. With this said, comfort and support in all the right places is the essential part for what we are looking for. Medically, gamers have a huge tendency to develop things like heavy slouching, lower back issues and jarred shoulders, as well as the many other issues associated with sitting with poor posture for hours on end. We advise regular breaks and moving from your seat but if you must stay in the same space for a long duration we are looking for the Nitro Concepts C80 to offer good support to keep our bodies aligned as it should be.

Packaging was very well thought out and kept every component safe while in transit. Assembly was made very easy by the basic image based guide that was included to help show how to erect the chair. With a total of 12 bolts and provided Allen key, everything was together in about 15-20 minutes. Very simple, even for the dim minded like myself or those not used to Ikea furniture!

The overall construction of the chair is excellent but with areas for improvement, not for the furnishing side of things but more for the internal construction. Just one extra lap from a drill over holes for bolts and cleaning up the material cuts around them would make the job a lot easier as sometimes it was tricky to line the bolt up with the sponge material hiding it. This is only a small issue I found and overall I was impressed.

The finish on the C80 is very nice, detailing perfect and makes for very nice viewing up close. From coloured stitching to bolt covers and breathable sections to prevent air build up, the development of these chairs have come a long way from what we say as gaming chairs back in the early 00’s. We found no issues in the perfection that is a clean cut finish of the C80 Pure.

Now a very important factor we have touched upon earlier, comfort, is next on the list of aspects to reflect on and overall, we were very happy with the overall experience. Although the leather and padding is a little squeaky/sturdy for the first few weeks of use it soon becomes apparent that with time will come more comfort. Sounds unusual right? Well, not exactly because the material used for support will bed in over time making it more comfortable yet the tough leather outer material will keep the general construct of the chair to allow for good sitting posture. We love the adjustability, although minute, of the chair and makes for easy use.

Overall, we are impressed with this product and the value for money factor of the C80 Pure series gaming chair is apparent without the loss of quality. There are plenty of contenders on the market but we struggle to find any that match the price, range and quality that Nitro Concepts has on offer.
