Installation
The Patent Pending “Multiseg™” Quick Mount System is a great way to install the R1 universal on Intel sockets. To get things started take the base plate and in each corner move the piece to the desired location depending on your preferred socket type.
One you have the pegs adjusted to your socket type you should be able to push them through the back of the motherboard, after this you will use the correct thumbscrews to secure the backplate to the motherboard.
Once all four corners are secure it is now time to install the cooler retention brackets, do so place them on top of the previously installed thumbscrews, following directions to align them properly then secure them in place with the thumb caps as pictured.
Now that the bracket is installed it is time to apply thermal paste and then screw the cooler to the bracket using the included screwdriver that came in the box.
As mentioned the Cryorig H5 offers great compatibility with RAM and unless the heatsinks on your RAM are overly bulky, you should not run into any problems.
