Performance
5v : At 5v the noise created from the fan is minimal, though it is still pushing out a good amount of air. The most noticeable of noises is of course coming from inside the middle of the fans where when putting the fan close to my ear I could hear the bearings or something similar. Once the fan was about 5-6 inches away from my ear this noise was no longer audible and the fans were fairly quiet.
7v: Using the included 7v adapter the fans seems to perform very similar to that of my 5v testing. While they were pushing out a bit more air there was really no extra noise from this.
12v: Here is where the most noticeable difference came into play, which was of course expected. When turning the fans up to 12v they actuall produce a very good amount of air, which of course comes with a bit more noise. However, the noise created from the increased airflow really isn’t unbearable, at least to me anyways. Also, the fact that this test is blasting the fans at full speed, which is something not likely to happen very much in most cases. I was pleasantly surprised with the airflow and the fact the little bit of extra noise makes the noise from the bearings less audible.
