When I first received word that I was to expect some new fans from Noctua I immediately had a feeling of joy. Having already posted the original Press Release and knowing what to expect, I was more than eager to get these in and start testing them.

First impressions are important and while they do not directly reflect the performance of an item, it is still an important aspect of the overall purchase. When we first look at the new products we of course notice the box/packaging they come in. Noctua have not let us down in this regard. While the box has a very simplistic design it retains a notion of quality and reflects very well on the fan inside.

Looking at the fan itself the design is impeccable and second to none. Noctua have hit it out of the park with their simple yet elegant black design. The inclusion of brown rubber vibration protectors is a nice addition; what makes it even better is if they are not your cup of tea, you can take them off! This speaks highly on the fact Noctua really have listened to consumers and wanted to deliver a product that should make most happy!

The performance of the industrialPPC fans is also nothing short of spectacular. Comparing them to the likes of Corsair’s SP120 fans, I was thoroughly impressed. When tested at both idle and full load they knocked off a good 3-4c from my overall temps. This was more than pleasing as though the industrialPPC fans are not designed to cool a Corsair H100, they had no problem showing up the fans that were made for it.

All-in-all the Noctua industrialPPC fans are something we all have been waiting for. They offer Noctua’s amazing performance in a colour scheme that is sure to fit right in with almost any PC build, whether it be personal or industrial grade. While they are not designed for it; there is no denying how good these would look in most builds and though they are on the expensive side, they prove they are worth it with their amazing performance.
