A very impressive showing in the performance setting from the 8GB R9 290x Tri-X card beating the GTX 970 but as expected, fell short of the GTX 980 due to the powerful GM 204 chip that it utilises. Â It was a different story in the Extreme preset however with the R9 290x 8GB card faltering under even the MSI GTX 780; the card did multiple runs to make sure but the result given was the result received.
Which Tool you used to OC the Card?
