The packaging is very similar to that of the other Fatal1ty Killer boards that have come before it. On the front it has the same unique background with the ASRock and Fatal1ty logos in the top left with the model name going across the middle. Running along the bottom are quite a few images that highlight some of the great features the Fatal1ty X99x Killer has to offer such as the Killer E220 networking, ASRock App Shop, ultra M.2, DDR4 support and the fact that it is a Gaming Motherboard in case you didn’t already know.
On to the back and in true motherboard fashion there is a bit more information on a few of the highlighted features of the board. This is where users will find information on things such as the Gaming Armor which is actually the individual components that make up the board, things like the high density power connectors and the gold plated DIMM and PCIe slots. Having a look arounf and we can also see some more information the Ultra M.2 slot, Killer E2200 LAN ASRock Cloud and even a specifications list to make sure this motherboard will be compatible with any other hardware users may be considering.
Inside the box are a few manuals and accessories including, quick installation and software setup guides, brochure on ASRock cloud, rear IO shield, SLI bridges, SATA cables, a couple of screws for installing M.2 SSDs and lastly the HDD Saver cable.
One of the things I will always praise ASRock for and for which they still seem to be the only company doing it is the foam padding that actually gets ziptied to the motherboard itself. This is a great way to show your customers you value their hardware and want it to reach them in the best possible condition.
