[section_title title=”Introduction”]Introduction

ASRock Inc. was established in 2002 and they specialize in manufacturing motherboards. With their headquarters in Taipei, ASRock aim to build their brand up with the 3C concept, “creativity, consideration and cost-effectiveness”. The company is always striving to produce higher-quality motherboards and in doing so they have even gotten some help from the professional gaming and overclocking industries. Over the years ASRock has been growing fast and has become the world’s third largest motherboard manufacturer and alongside their headquarters in Taipei, they also have branches in Europe and USA.

Today I will be taking a look at one of their latest motherboards which features the new X99 chipset and is built for Haswell-E processors, the Fatal1ty X99X Killer. The Fatal1ty Killer range is aimed at gamers and is designed in part with the professional gamer ‘Fatal1ty’ as the name suggests. The Fatal1ty X99X Killer follows in the footsteps of those before it with its red and black theme, it has an LGA 2011-3 socket, support for up to 128GB of DDR4 3000+Mhz(OC) ram and an M.2 port just to name a couple of the main features. Following on from my last Intel based Fatal1ty Killer reviews featuring both the H97 and Z97 chipsets, I look to see if ASRock is still pushing forward with their motherboards.

First, have a look and my unboxing followed by the full specifications list for the Fatal1ty X99X Killer:
