Closer Look – Numpad

Here we have the optional or included numpad (depending which package you buy).  This comes with a USB cable for connecting to your PC; yes another cable which makes 3 x USB ports needed for this keyboard when you include the numpad.  Design wise it is identical to the Tizona and the purple plate with the Tesoro logo inside it looks decent in my opinion.

The Tizona numpad or G2N-P has a very nice look about it and probably the most interesting thing about the whole deal is the ability to either have the numpad on the left or right side of your keyboard; giving people the choice like this opens up things which other brands haven’t even considered yet.

Just like the Tizona (G2N), it features Kailh brown switches and is also available in red, blue and black varieties.  It is even possible to have a black switched numpad and red switched keyboard; whatever takes your fancy although not sure why you would want to!

On the rear of the G2N-P numpad and to coincide with the fact you can have the numpad on either side of the keyboard itself, there is a little modular space in which you can swap which side the cable comes from; this helps keep the cable hidden and out of way.  The USB connection also features gold plating for increased connectivity.

Also present is the “usual” sticker which contains serial/model numbers, brand, safety information and of course the Tesoro logo.

Here is a shot of how it would come together with the Tizona G2N Elite keyboard itself and what it looks like as a 100% sized keyboard.
