Conclusion

This is the 6th release in the main series, and I would honestly rate this game at that coveted number one spot of the franchise. Ubisoft Montreal really outdid themselves with this title, not only with story, graphics and gameplay, but even the time and whole pirate theme was on point. If you want to play the best AC has to offer, this is easily the one you should pick up and get a go with. I got this game for £6 on a Humble Bundle store deal, so you can definitely get it super cheap out there if you have a look around!

  • Story in the animus is an interesting alternative history.
  • Gameplay is great and easy to get into.

  • Using the ship is great fun for all!
  • Being a pirate is a whole new fun adventure!
  • Multiplayer adds more value to this game than previous titles!

  • Leaving the Animus for more Abstergo isn’t the most fun for me.
  • Not enough enemy types again, a recurring complaint of mine throughout the franchise.
  • Rating memories was an annoyance as it took out immersion.
