e-Sports over the past couple of years has exploded beyond all expectations with the release of games such as League of Legends, DOTA2 and even more conventional games such as FIFA, Call of Duty and Counterstrike. With a lot of focus on the market being geared towards PC users with keyboards and mice, what is out there for the plethora of console gamers on the market and what if there was a solution which could benefit both console and PC?
Well Scuf Gaming who formed in 2010 did just that. With their ideology that the standard controllers are somewhat limiting, they developed their own range of controllers to combat this. Unlike other brands, Scuf patented their technology and released the first Scuf controller specifically designed for FPS gamers which took the scene by storm. With less limitations and customisability, Scuf hit the ground running and have since released controllers over multiple platforms including the PS3 and Xbox One.
With that being said, today I will be taking a look at one of their controllers designed for use with the Xbox 360 and PC, more specifically it is the Scuf Gaming Hybrid which features many different levels of customisation such as colour, design, the amount of paddles and even allows you customise which buttons the paddles represent. Will its pretty hefty price let it down or is it a gaming must have? Let’s find out, starting with some information regarding Scuf Gaming…
