The Pulse XB (Extra Bass) features 2x 50mm drivers with Pulse bass radiators to give users that extra boom they have been craving. The Pulse XB comes equipped with a rechargeable 7.4 volt – 2600mAh Lithium battery that lasts for an average of 10-18 hours per charge depending on the volume the speaker is set to.
The Pulse XB has a unique feature in terms of its 3D DSP technology which according to ADX “Guarantees a truly immersive sound with wide stereo separation and depth like you’ve never heard before from a portable speaker.” Sound quality was the main goal when it came to the Pulse XB and more importantly, the bass it could produce. The Pulse XB is full of great tech including its 2x50mm ‘XB’ long throw drivers which feature a more powerful magnet, forward roll foam surround and a new paper composite diagram.
The dual “Pulse Bass Radiators coupled with the 2x50mm ‘XB’ long throw drivers are what allow for the amazingly deep bass to come from such a small and portable speaker. The Pulse XB really does offer a great sound all-around, but the bass is incredible when compared to similarly sized wireless speakers.
