[section_title title=”Introduction and Specifications”]
Today we will be taking a look at the P614 Premium Headphones with In-Line Microphone from manufacturer, Arctic. The company name Arctic may sound familiar, mainly as they are well known for their system cooling solutions like thermal paste and CPU coolers, and with much more tech recently released on the market by them you had better get used to hearing it!
Moving on, lets talk about the P614 a little bit before delving into this review. To start, these premium built headphones feature enhanced and high quality neodymium drivers to deliver deep bass and smooth tones. With a silver on black style to them, they also offer a comfortable padded headband and over ear earphones. Further down the line you will find a small control box with in-built microphone as well as a gold plated 3.5mm jack.
So, are these ‘premium’ headphones from Arctic worth the price tag? We will now jump into the review and find out. To start, lets take a look at the specification of these headphones provided to us by Arctic on their website. A direct link to this specific specification can be on this page under the heading “Technical Data”.
|Wearing Style:||Supra-Aural On-ear|
|Frequency Response:||20 Hz – 20 kHz|
|Microphone Sensitivity:||– 42dB +/- 3dB|
|Sensitivity:||105dB +/- 5dB at 1kHz|
|Cable Length:||1.2m with a 3.5mm plug|
What we can tell from this raw data is that the headphones should perform to a fairly medium level of quality, with a solid frequency response and impedance. The microphone also looks promising but we will talk about this a little later in the review.
