Another speaker has seen me through a good few work days and once again it is time to see how well it handled the abuse.
Starting off with the design it is actually one I quite liked. It has a rubberized coating around it which may not be every ones cup of tea but I enjoy it. The pattern on the front grill was also a nice touch in my opinion as were the air ports on the bottom of the speaker. The buttons are also indented just enough to make them easily pressed. Plus let us not forget that it is available in a few different colours, something that always comes in handy and will make users more likely to consider and purchase an item.
When considering the performance you get what you pay for. In this case you are paying for a nice small set of speakers to add a bit more volume to your smartphone or tablet. If you are looking for something with bass to shake the house and highs to upset your neighbours you will not find it here. However, if you are looking for a device that can fill up a room with sound easily and do so with mostly no distortion then the HV-SK466BT can handle that for you and for most of the day as well. The battery life on the HV-SK466BT will get you most of the way through the day and that is all one can ask for in a speaker of this size. If you need something to last 10 hours+ you will have to look at something a bit bigger.
The price, which is just short of £25 allows the HV-SK466BT to offer very good value for the money. A lot of speakers in this price range are even smaller than the HV-SK466BT and only offer 1 3w speaker whereas the HV-SK466BT has 2 x 3w speaker allowing for a bit more sound. When considering the performance you get with the HV-SK466BT you really can’t go wrong for the price.
If you are looking for a bit more sound from your mobile device the HAVIT HV-SK466BT is a good place to start. It offers a nice design with good performance and a great price. It is sure to get you through most of the day with its compact size which will also allow it to be place most anywhere in the room to fill it up with some great sound. Don’t let the price fool you, the HV-SK466BT can easily compete with some of the more expensive Bluetooth speakers, even some of the ones I have previously reviewed.
