Closer Look: Exterior

With a large, but unconventional shaped window, the NZXT Noctis 450 sports a pretty stylish, but unique shapely exterior. With 2 different colour schemes available (black with red LED’s or white with blue LED’s), the option is there to be able to customise your system to your liking; you can turn the LEDs off if those aren’t your cup of tea at the push of a button.

The Noctis 450 is technically a mid-tower with an overall dimension of 220x567x544mm (DxWxH) although it isn’t small by any shape or means.

At the top, the section infuses a mesh grill into the design which not only allows for airflow inside of the case, but it looks quite nice too the way they have implemented the exterior panels.

At the front, we have very industrial and futuristic panels along with a triangle shaped mesh hole designed for airflow. It reminds me a little of the NZXT Phantom range (same company) and if you are a fan of aggressive case designs, then NZXT’s products are going to appeal to you!

Front panel I/O wise, we have 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x power switch and 1 set of 3.5mm audio jacks; 1 for the microphone and 1 for headphones/headset, depending on your weapon of choice.

Propping the case up and allowing for airflow to glide underneath, is 4 x stands which have rubberised feet to avoid damaging your desk/wooden floor.
