Cryorig was officially started in 2013 though it was some time in the making. They have formed their team of members who have previously worked with other brands such as Thermalright, Prolimatech, Phanteks and many more they claim. They are a group of overclocking and modding enthusiasts who hold direct knowledge of manufacturing and design procedures and are here to strive for improvement.
Today I will be taking a look at the first Cryorig product Play3r has reviewed in the way of the Cryorig C1 Top-Down Cooler. The C1 is designed for ITX systems and Cryorig have called it “The Low Profile Super Cooler”. The C1 has a total of six copper sintered heatpipes, four of which are high capacity U-Type heatpipes that are said to nearly double cooling capacity.
If looks alone were anything to go off of this cooler would be sure to score some big points, unfortunately I have learned my lesson in this regard and am going to have to let the performance tests speak for themselves.
