Packaging
First thing we notice when unboxing the Zelos is the way they have improved from the Pallas cooler we reviewed earlier this year. As you can see there is a strong protective plastic that seals the fan and heatpipes from damage when in transit or from dust when its been in the warehouse.
Once I got everything out of the box we find there is a resealable bag containing screws, nuts, thermal grease and a tool for tightening the nuts. Also in the box is the instruction manual for how to set up the Zelos on an AMD or Intel socket. As mentioned earlier, the heatpipes and fan are sealed in a hard plastic with the mounting clips for the motherboard, with such a simple way of keeping everything together and protected it gives me piece of mind knowing my product wasn’t going to be damaged when I opened it.
