Conclusion
When I first got hold of the Zelos I wasn’t expecting a lot in terms of performance and quality, I was kind of right and wrong. I really like the way Raijintek has responded in terms of packaging, sealing the heatpipes and fan in a very well constructed hard plastic which undoubtedly is a key point for me, it shows that Raijintek are willing to listen to what people have to say and build on the feedback given.
I was surprised with the quality of the heatpipes, fins, and the actual fan itself, ascetically pleasing with the red on silver design and very well built.
Although it failed the 4.5Ghz test which I wasn’t expecting it to pass anyway, Â it performed quite well in the 3.9GHz; very quiet and didn’t push too hard to keep my case cold.
I wouldn’t recommend the Zelos in a standard ATX case but in a small form factor with a budget I would happily put the Zelos in one of my builds, only because it enables me to have more room inside my chassis and also the Zelos could handle the amount of air flow in a small form factor build.
Overall I am a bit disappointed with the Raijintek Zelos, although very quiet there were a few problems when we pushed it to 4.5GHz and also for the price there are a few better CPU coolers on the market. if I was to compare it to Raijintek’s Pallas which is also a small form factor CPU cooler, I would have to go with the Pallas.
After everything we have gone through it has brought me to the conclusion that i simply cannot give an  award to the Zelos from Play3r.
But i would like to say thank you to Raijintek for letting us test out their product.

Some images from our older reviews vanished when we changed servers – we thought we caught them all but I guess this one slipped through. Thanks for letting us know.
