Closer Look OKEANOS

As mentioned, the OKEANOS is a dual tower cooler. Each of the fin arrays are identical to each other and are designed to allow users to put a fan on either side. and while the OKEANOS only comes with two fans in the box, it can accommodate three and the third set of retention clips is also included.

One of the things I really look for on air coolers is the attention to detail on the top of the cooler. The top of the cooler is likely to be what is on display in most cases and as such, should look nice. REEVEN have done a great job of recognizing this, not only have they capped off the 6mm heat pipes that can be seen on all four corners of each fin array, they also didn’t have the 8mm heat pipes come through the top fin. This is something I feel has complimented the design of the cooler quite nice and at the end of the day shouldn’t affect performance at all.

As mentioned, the OKEANOS has both 6mm and 8mm heat pipes, with the 6mm heat pipes being on the outside and the 8mm in the center.  As with a lot of coolers on the market, the heat pipes and base are nickel plated.

One thing I found a bit odd was the fact REEVEN did include two different types of fans. Not only are they different sizes, they are also different shapes and while this does not seem to really affect anything, it is just something that takes a bit of getting used to.  REEVEN have also made sure to have the 4-pin connector cables pre-braided.
