The front and back of the packaging are very similar, the only real difference is the colour combinations used. Looking at them, we can see the Thermalright logo in the top left with their, what I would call building-block logo, very fitting for them I would say. Top right is the URL to their website so users looking for more information on anything regarding Thermalright will know where to go. In the middle is a nicely sized image of the Rev. B so users can get an idea of what it will look like and to the right of this are some awards Thermalright have won over the years.
On one side of the box, users will be able to find a full specifications list so they can make sure the Macho Rev. B will be compatible with their case and/or hardware they will be using.
The other side of the box lets users know some of the main features the Rev. B has to offer such as it’s bigger base to make it more compatible with the new Haswell-E processors on the 2011-3 socket. One of the things I love seeing is the inclusion of the Thermalright screwdriver, while it is a small offering when all is said and done, it is one of the best screwdrivers I have around even to this day and I can always use another. The bottom of this side of the box goes on to highlight some more awards Thermalright have won over the years!
When opening the box up we are instantly greeted with the installation instructions and can see the cooler and its fan are very well protected by foam padding.
Apart from the Rev. B itself, there is a small box in the bottom that contains all the accessories and hardware to allow users to mount this cooler on most AMD and Intel sockets. The included fan has a black frame with white fins which should fit in well with most builds colour scheme, we can also see the Screwdriver on the far right which as mentioned is a favourite of mine.
